EASY QUANDONG SORBET

INGREDIENTS

2 Cups of freshly squeezed orange juice (or store bought)

2 Cups of Quandong fruit flesh (seeds removed)

METHOD

Bring the orange juice and the quandong halves to boiling point to soften the Quandongs

Turn off heat and allow to cool completely at room temperature (syrup should thicken and quandongs soften)

Then refrigerate until very cold

Add to a shallow baking tray and half freeze

Add to blender and blend until smooth

Put back into the freezer in air-tight container until ready to use

Thaw slightly and scrap the sorbet to serve.

Alternatively you could use seasonal fruits and add NATIF Quandong powder to flavour.
