    HEALTH BENEFITS

Desert limes have an outstanding amount of Vitamin C, a high-level of folate (ten times more than blueberry) and is a rich source of calcium (with almost ten times the calcium content of Blueberries). Desert limes show a high potassium:sodium ratio, which may be beneficial to help reduce hypertension. Desert limes also contain a-Tocopherol, a powerful lipophilic antioxidant. They also contain lutein (which is good for eye health in the prevention of macular degeneration), more than the Hass avocado - known to be the primary source of lutein.

Desert Lime is a source of Vitamin C, contains natural antioxidants and other nutrients for good health. As part of a healthy diet vitamin c can assist with:

    • Absorption of iron from food
    • Protection against free radicals
