Beetroot, Davidson Plum & Chocolate Fudge Brownies

BEETROOT, DAVIDSON PLUM & CHOCOLATE FUDGE BROWNIES

This cake is Gluten & Dairy Free

INGREDIENTS

4 Small peeled Beetroot (1/2 cooked via steam method then cooled)

5 Free Range Eggs

100g of Cocoa Powder

4 Tbs of local honey

10 Pitted Dates

1/2 cup of almond meal

1 Tsp of NATIF Davidson Plum Powder

4 Tbs of butter (or coconut oil)

Beetroot latte powder for the top (use coco powder if you don't have any)

METHOD

Preheat oven to 200*C

Add chopped Beetroot, NATIF Davidson Plum, chopped dates and eggs and blend for 2 minutes on low- medium speed.

Add the other ingredients and blend again for 30 seconds until smooth.

Pour the mixture onto a greased oven tray

Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Cool, then slice.

Sprinkle with the Beetroot latte powder or coco powder.

Store in the fridge or freezer.
